- JOB SUMMARY
- Under the general supervision of the Laboratory Manager this position will provide general clerical support for Laboratory Services Dept.

- DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Filing all necessary paperwork and charts
- Answer the phone in a timely and courteous manner
- Processes and accession blood and body fluids for testing
- Copy, compile and maintain records as required
- Assists in calling ordering facilities for samples needing recollected.
- All other clerical duties as assigned
- EDUCATION/LICENSE/ CERTIFICATIONS/OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum requirement:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must type 35 correct words per minute
