Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Exhibits proficiency regarding Packaging Operator Apprentice or Levels I and II
* Displays capability to lead, train, and guide Packaging Operator Apprentice, Levels I and II to achieve highest production performance.
* Demonstrates ability to select best and/or alternate equipment to promote performance
* Leads efforts assessing packaging equipment readiness and perform repairs of packaging equipment as needed
* Leads packaging 5s sustainment
* Complies with company safety, quality, standard operating procedures (SOP), HACCP and GMP guidelines
* Other duties as assigned
Requirements
* High School diploma or equivalent preferred
* Able to repetitively lift 50 pounds
* Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of tools
* Computer literate
* Demonstrates a high level of precision, accuracy and alertness
* Good decision making skills
* Able to use dolly
* Certified to use manual or electric pallet jack
