Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Assistant Teacher to join our team. As an Infant Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. If you have a love for working with infants and toddlers, and a strong background in early childhood education or a willingness to be trained, we encourage you to apply.
Duties:
- Assist in following and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for babies.
- Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for infants.
- Provide guidance and support to infants in their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Foster positive relationships with parents and communicate regularly about their child's day.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, assist with washing bottles at the end of the day.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing/Texas Rising Star requirements and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with infants and toddlers, preferred but not needed. We offer staff training and development.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred, but will schedule you for class.
- Experience working with students with special education needs is a plus
