Montessori Kids Universe of Stone Oak is seeking a assistant Montessori teacher for our Infant Classroom. If you have a passion for the Montessori & Reggio Emilia philosophies, and take pride in creating and sustaining the highest-quality educational environment, this position is for you!
Lucrative salary opportunity based on experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Montessori credential or experience
    • If you do not currently hold a Montessori Certification, we will sponsor you and assist you in obtaining your certification.
  • Experience working with children
  • Warm, kind, respectful, and nurturing values
  • Passion for the Montessori & Reggio Emilia philosophies combined with excellence in communicating these philosophies to parents and other community members
  • Genuine warmth and love for guiding children (and their families!)
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred
You will be responsible for sustaining an authentic Montessori environment. You will encourage the children to think creatively, to solve problems independently and respect themselves and others. The Montessori Method sparks imagination, assists children in making positive choices, and helps the students build self-esteem while they discover new things each day.
We are interested in lead teachers who are kind, thoughtful and strong at guiding children in self-motivated learning and helping stimulate their natural desire to learn.
