Job Title: Proposal Writer

Job Summary:
As the Business Development Proposal Writer for our federal government contracting firm, you will play a pivotal role in securing new contracts and expanding our business. With your expertise in general contracting, construction management, Base Operations Support (BOS) services, Operations and Maintenance (O&M), vehicles and equipment maintenance, call centers, logistics, and environmental services, you will be responsible for developing high-quality proposals that effectively communicate our capabilities, solutions, and value proposition. Your exceptional writing skills, industry knowledge, and attention to detail will contribute to our success in winning contracts and driving business growth.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (such as business, communications, or engineering) is preferred
Proven experience as a proposal writer in the federal government contracting industry, with a focus on general contracting, construction management, BOS services, O&M, vehicles and equipment maintenance, call centers, logistics, or environmental services
Strong understanding of federal government procurement processes, regulations, and contract types
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and a command of persuasive and effective proposal writing techniques
In-depth knowledge of the industry terminology, technical concepts, and best practices associated with general contracting, construction management, BOS services, O&M, vehicles and equipment maintenance, call centers, logistics, and environmental services
Familiarity with proposal development tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and content management systems
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple proposals simultaneously
Professional demeanor, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
