The Primary function is oversight of physician services and the medical component of the Hospice. Responsibilities include promoting and maintaining the standards of practice consistent with quality hospice care. Responsible for the palliation and management of the patient's terminal illness and conditions related to the terminal illness in conjunction with the patient's attending physician. Serves as a member of the Interdisciplinary Group.
