Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development in young children
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a positive learning environment
- Monitor and assess the progress of each child and provide feedback to parents
Experience:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children in a childcare or daycare setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Familiarity with curriculum development for preschoolers
- Ability to effectively communicate with young children and engage them in learning activities
- Strong understanding of childhood development milestones
- Proficiency in math concepts relevant to preschool education
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
