Preschool Teacher

Kinder Village in St Paul, MN is looking for an experienced and passionate Preschool Teacher and Lead Infant Teacher to join our child care team. The ideal candidate will have a background in early childhood education and be able to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for our students.

Pay and Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pmStarting from $18.50 - $21. Experience Compensated!!!

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide a learning environment that is warm, supporting, and comforting.
• Engage in activities and play that stimulates their development.
• Provide a daily group time that includes calendar, weather, themed discussion/ or social/emotional discussion, and story.
• Attend and supervise intergenerational activities
• Be responsible for updating Brightwheel and the daily activities pertaining to learning activities, eating, sleeping, and diapering.

As lead teacher it is your responsibility to:

• Supervise teacher aides in the classroom and ensure they are following program policies and procedures throughout the day.
• Plan daily activities that are developmentally appropriate for young children

Teacher Qualifications:

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Education options:
  • associate degree- with 4,160 hours as assistant teacher
  • child development certification- 1,560 hours as assistant teacher, aide, or student intern
  • Bachelor's Degree- 1,040 hours as assistant teacher, aide, or student intern
• Submit to various background checks including those completed through the DHS.
• Complete a Tuberculosis test through Episcopal Homes
