Kimley-Horn is seeking an ambitious EIT to join our Structural Engineering team in our Salt Lake City office with a focus on horizontal design.

Responsibilities

You will have the opportunity to prepare bridge/structural plans, specifications, and estimates for primarily public clients. 

As a Civil Analyst with Kimley-Horn, you will benefit from hands-on experience, technical and consulting trainings, mentorship opportunities, and developmental programs geared towards growing Kimley-Horn’s next generation of leaders. You will also gain exposure to client interactions and project financials. As a valuable addition to our team, you will solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate with partners to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.

Qualifications

• An ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelor or Masters) with an interest or expeirence in Structural Engineer
• We are seeking candidates with 1-3 years of prior civil/structural experience (including internship experience) working within a professional civil engineering design firm
• EIT/EI certification or have the ability to obtain within 6 months
• Exposure to AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, or Microstation
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Ability to apply technical skills to meet project demands and solve problems for our clients

• Clear sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines
