Kimball, Tirey & St. John is Hiring a Business Process Specialist Near San Diego, CA

We are an established real estate law firm with offices across California. Our firm is looking for an Business Process Specialist to join our fast-paced team. The Business Process Specialist will work with stakeholders throughout the firm to create consistency and improve efficiency in day-to-day procedures. They will be responsible for analyzing current practices and creating standard operating procedures for use in all offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct meetings with staff and attorneys across multiple offices to develop a full understanding of procedures in each sub-department.
  • Work with Managing Partners and Operations Manager to establish and document best practices for each process.
  • Develop and maintain library of policy and procedure documentation.
  • Facilitate open communication between offices.
  • Identify and alleviate bottlenecks to help streamline processes.
  • Assist with the implementation of new processes and procedures.
  • Audit workflows and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Generate reports to provide insights and support decision making.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage technology for automation or improved efficiency.
  • Work with learning and development team to create training resources.
  • Occasional travel to other office locations possible.


Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in process mapping and project management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to translate processes into written documentation
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to problem solve and implement solutions to improve efficiency

The following qualifications are preferred:

  • Law Firm or Legal Services experience
  • Familiarity with the firm’s case management software, ProLaw
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Schedule:

Position is full-time at 40 hours/week. Our business hours are 8:30am-5:30pm Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-5:00pm Friday.

This position is fully onsite/in-office for the first 90 days and will then be eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
