Responsibilities
- Evaluate suppliers and products.
- Monitor stock levels.
- Request quotes, negotiate purchase terms & conditions and prepare & issue purchase orders.
- Assure that purchased items are delivered on schedule, at the negotiated price and meet quality standards.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns.
- Review new technologies, materials and products for possible future use.
- Proven working experience in Purchasing a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management a plus, but not required.
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs and ERP systems.
- Ability to gather and analyze data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid judgement and decision-making skills.
- Team-player who can also work independently.
- Pay dependent on experience (starting 65K)
- Full benefits package included (i.e. 401K, PTO, medical, dental, vision, etc.)
