As an inventory specialist for Full Spectrum Laser, your primary responsibility would be to manage the company's inventory of laser cutting and engraving machines, parts, and consumables. Some of the tasks you might perform in this role could include:

• Monitoring inventory levels: You would need to keep track of the company's inventory levels and make sure that they remain at appropriate levels to meet customer demand.
• Ordering and receiving inventory: You would be responsible for placing orders with suppliers and receiving incoming inventory. This would involve coordinating with other departments to make sure that the inventory is received and processed in a timely manner.
• Managing inventory databases: You would need to keep accurate records of inventory levels and movements using inventory management software. This would involve updating inventory records as new items are received, tracking usage of consumables, and adjusting inventory levels as needed.
• Conducting inventory audits: You would need to conduct regular inventory audits to ensure that the inventory levels in the database match the actual physical inventory in the warehouse.
• Forecasting inventory needs: You would need to use sales data and other metrics to forecast inventory needs and make sure that the company has enough inventory on hand to meet anticipated demand.
• Developing inventory policies and procedures: You would work with management to develop and implement inventory policies and procedures that ensure efficient inventory management and minimize the risk of inventory shrinkage or loss.
• Assist Purchasing

Desired Skills and Requirements:

• 1-3 years’ experience in inventory
• The ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally with others
• Must possess great attention to detail
• Have knowledge of mechanical/electrical parts/components
• Have experience in a manufacturing environment, very helpful
• Knowledge of various software such as Google Docs, Gmail, QuickBooks, MS Office (especially Excel)
• ERP / Inventory software experience is preferred
• Degree in related field nice but not necessary
• Fluent in Mandarin is a plus
