A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RETAIL TEAM MEMBER
As a Retail Team Member, you serve on the front line of your assigned store and are often the first point of contact customers have with our company. You are responsible for providing excellent customer service and brand knowledge to our store guests by answering any questions they may have and offering sales suggestions. When customers call our store, you promptly answer and take care of any phone orders that are placed. You also effectively operate our cash register when customers are ready to purchase products in person as well as accept payments and accurately make change when needed.
In addition, you perform general cleaning duties around the store as well as ensure that our merchandise and displays are set up according to company standards. When our stock is running low, you prepare and make Waffle Cones, quality Chocolates, Fudge, and Ice Cream that you then help serve to customers. In order to successfully perform the duties of this temporary position, you undergo training in customer service techniques, sales suggestions, health standards, and general store procedures. You enjoy having a job where you get to learn valuable career skills while working in a fun and engaging environment that allows you to meet new people each day!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RETAIL TEAM MEMBER
- Ability to operate sales transactions (Point of Sale register) in an accurate manner
- Ability to lift at least 40 pounds and stand for prolonged periods of time
- Excellent customer service skills
Sales experience would be a plus, but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills? Can you balance multiple tasks while demonstrating good time management? Are you able to keep up in a fast-paced environment? Do you work well with others? Are you highly organized and attentive to detail? Can you follow instructions and make good decisions? If so, you might just be perfect for this temporary customer service position!

This part-time retail position works flexible hours including weekends.
