Job Summary

The Warehouse Team Lead is empowered with adequate authority to exercise the required duties and responsibilities of the position to ensure that all work performed meets or exceeds KIK Consumer Products- Prestone (Freehold, NJ) standards for safety, quality, training, and productivity.

Job Responsibilities

• Directs warehouse employees in day-to-day operating tasks
• Responsible for warehouse staging and scheduling during shift
• Monitor performance of forklift operators and order selectors
• Providing leadership, guidance and training to the warehouse team and new employees
• Assists in loading and unloading of trailers as needed
• Assists in line pulling as needed
• Assists in making sure production lines and palletizer stay operational during duration of shift
• General housekeeping duties as assigned
• Be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, via RF equipment
• Enforce safety & quality across the team, while meeting daily goals
• Report all accidents, incidents and any EHS issues to management
• Demonstrates and maintains exemplary care of all equipment
• Completes routine paperwork and maintains records as required
• Communicates effectively with shift line leads, department managers and coworkers

Qualifications

• 2-3 years lead warehouse/manufacturing experience required
• 3-4 years Forklift operator experience required
• Strong computer skills, ability to navigate through the internet, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), JDE E1 experience preferred
• Ability to prioritize & meet critical deadlines to fully carry out given instructions from management
• RF/scanning experience preferred
• Good team skills to be able to work with others
• Ability to push, pull, and lift at least 60 lbs. regularly
