Job Description

As the Regional Compliance Manager, you will uphold regulatory standards across our portfolio. As a key player of our team, you will ensure adherence to standards while overseeing property operations.

What You Will Do:

  • Lead comprehensive Property Manager training sessions and offer ongoing support.
  • Implement daily recognition and improvement measures for site personnel.
  • Regularly update Site Manager training manuals and administrative forms.
  • Demonstrate mastery of relevant housing programs and compliance regulations.
  • Directly supervise Site Managers within the assigned portfolio.
  • Ensure timely submission of HAP vouchers and compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Address lease violations promptly and handle resident correspondence.
  • Stay abreast of program changes and keep Site Managers informed accordingly.
  • Act as a liaison with third-party auditing agencies.
  • Assume Site Manager duties during vacancies as needed.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

  • Proficiency in property management software, such as Yardi.
  • Ability to effectively supervise, train, and support Site Managers.
  • In-depth knowledge of housing programs, compliance handbooks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving work environments and handle escalated situations.

  • Occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions, occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, extreme cold and heat
  • May be required to occasionally work over-time
  • May be required to travel to attend meetings, seminars and training
  • Use of safety glasses, hearing protection and gloves are required during activities such as cleaning, maintenance, grounds maintenance and any other activity which presents a hazardous environment
