Kidz Academy has been providing our community with childcare and preschool services for over 30 years in Murray, UT. We are a fast paced childcare center and our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where children who attend can excel academically, physically, mentally, and emotionally.

We are looking for happy, reliable and consistent teachers. As a teacher, your role is to foster a nurturing and fun learning environment for the children who attend Kidz Academy. We will rely on you to keep your classroom, the toys, and classroom bathroom organized, clean, and the children in your classroom who use diapers changed regularly. If you are a lead teacher of an older group, you won’t have children in diapers.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct and facilitate learning in a variety of ways (e.g. through playtime, reading, outside play, emotional regulation, sharing, etc).
• Provide a supportive learning environment by maintaining discipline and offering encouragement.
• Remain consistent with the daily schedule that is posted in each individual classroom.
• Maintain and keep the following up to date: CPR, first aid, food handlers permit, background check and 20 hours of training provided by The State of Utah and staff meetings here in center.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
