Escapade Group Limited operate the ultimate indoor and outdoor adventure parks. Currently operating four popular brands, Hobbledown, Kidspace and Gripped across five sites, the business has ambitious plans to grow and expand. At present, there is an established Hobbledown Adventure Farm Park & Zoo at Epsom, Hobbledown Heath which opened in 2022 alongside Gripped, the best Adrenaline Park in the South and two incredible indoor play and children’s party venues at Croydon and Romford. In 2023 we added Watermouth Family Theme Park & Castle to our portfolio which took our visitor numbers to over 1 million per annum. We also host over 7000 birthday parties a year!

About the Role

The Food & Beverage Operations Manager will be responsible for the Food & Beverage and Operations across Hobbledown Epsom.

This role will ensure exceptional safety standards in relation to site management, food hygiene, cleanliness, allergen management, COSHH and general health and safety. You will ensure risk assessments, allergen management plans and appropriate record keeping is in place and the teams are fully trained and competent in all the above, including the safe operating of all equipment. The Food & Beverage Operations Manager will also be P&L accountable in driving visitor spends and revenue opportunities throughout Food & Beverage, controlling costs and stock levels to meet demand and managing labour in accordance to agreed budgets.

Providing our visitors with brilliant service, ensuring product quality and availability in a clean welcoming environment, will positively contribute to experience and will be measured by our customer service scores (Trip Advisor, Google Reviews). Leading by example, understanding, and reacting to guests and of course our teams need will support continuous improvements.

We are looking for someone with a passion for food and the ability to both deliver and adapt the menu to meet the demands of variable levels of demand. 

This role will require you to have the confidence and ability to take full lead of the site for at least 2 days out of 5 each week. 

Adaptability and willingness to be part of the management team that would include site presentation, cleaning and recruitment. You will work any five days out of seven.

• Able to influence and work collaboratively at all levels across the business and with the team 
• Prepared to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in
• Can cook and has a passion for delivering food

• Level 3 Food Safety Hygiene Certificate is desirable for this role.
• Previous Management Experience is required for this role 
• Previous experience of working in a visitor attraction/venue is highly attractive
