As a Maintenance Person, you wil make sure all the repairs are done timely. You will keep up with the school maintenance as well as transporting items to and from the storage facility. Must have extensive knowlege in plumbing, electrical and air conditioning.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience with facilities management, maintenance, or housekeeping preferred.
- Must have valid driver’s license, personal car insurance, and personal transportation as needed for work.
- Must be able to work independently or in a team setting, follow instructions and complete tasks as assigned.
- Must have strong attention to detail.
- COVID –19 Vaccination / approved exemption status
Duties: We offer various duties in our facility including: cleaning, maintenance, monitoring, staffing, library duties, patient care, etc.. Your choice of duties will be determined on your experience and skills!
- Cleaning - including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning walls/ceilings, cleaning bathrooms, etc. , making up beds.
- Maintenance - including repairing appliances, replacing windows/doors/fixtureings, fixing minor plumbing issues, etc. , performing minor repairs when needed (e.g. repairing HVAC), making appointments for service calls, etc. .
- Monitoring - including checking all building systems for consistency consistency with specifications (e.g. temperature control), observing normal functions of facility equipment and reporting any problems, answering all kinds of questions about our service process or treatment programs, etc.
- Personnel - including checking all facility equipment for specifications (e.g. humidity control), observing normal functions of facility equipment and reporting any problems to superiors, answering all kinds of questions about our service process or treatment programs, etc.
