Kids R Kids Landstar is looking for an experienced Director of Curriculum to join our team.

This position will be based in Orlando, FL.

The Director of Curriculum will be responsible for the implementation of a curriculum for the 0 to 12 years old, and will work closely with the teacher and Director.

Responsibilities:

• Implement curriculum for the classroom, including lesson plans, assessments, and assessments.
• Ensure that all classroom materials are in compliance with all applicable state and local licensing requirements.
• Work with the teacher and school principal to ensure classroom policies are in compliance with all licensing requirements.

• Maintain a professional working relationship with teachers, parents, and community members to ensure the success of the classroom.
• Work with staff to develop a curriculum that is age appropriate for children.
• Work with staff to plan lessons that are age appropriate for children.
• Manage the implementation of a curriculum for each grade level.

• Ensure that all grades are on track to meet state and local licensing requirements.
• Support professional development programs as directed by the Early Learning Development.

Required Skills: Must have 1 years of experience working in a similar role. Must have CDA or BA and Director's Credential. Must have excellent oral communication skills, written communication skills, organizational skills, time management skills, attention to detail, problem solving skills, ability to work independently when needed, ability to communicate effectively with parents and children, ability to maintain a calm and positive attitude under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38,000.00 - $47,500.00 per year
