Full Job Description

Kid's Culture Child Care in Dover, NH is currently accepting applications for early childhood teachers to join our team, to cover a maternity leave! This would be until May, with the possibility for year round for the right candidate. This is great for someone that wants to try out working in childcare!

It is preferred for candidates to be associate qualified per regulations outlined by the NH DHHS Child Care Licensing Unit, but is not required. Experience working with children, especially in a licensed child care program, is preferred. Candidates must have the ability to work independently and be comfortable with exercising good judgement and decision making skills as well as maintaining a safe environment at all times.

Requirements

Candidate must be CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to obtain) and successfully complete pre-employment requirements of the daycare and the organization.

  • Supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 5 years,
  • Addressing problems and answering questions,
  • Carrying out lesson plans and activities,
  • Able to adapt to any age group,
  • Able to collaboratively,
  • Following all health and safety rules, both state and center regulated,
  • Willingness to maintain education and training.
