KHA Accountants, PLLC is Hiring a Remote Associate - Tax

In-office with partial remote option
Responsibilities:
  • You will gather, organize, synthesize and analyz data from a variety of sources and provide accurate reports
  • Perform engagement tasks preparing clear, concise, well-organized, and accurate work papers with definitive conclusions as well as meaningful, well-written recommendations for inclusion in client correspondence
  • Identify issues and apply accounting principles
  • Research technical issues and participate in technical discussions relating to client assignments
  • Grow by progressively take on increased responsibility and, at times, take on the in-charge role for certain engagements
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of staff
  • Begin to develop networking strategy and maintain current network of existing contacts
  • Exhibit behavior that supports effective teams
  • Train and/or mentor interns and/or other associates
  • Openness to constructive feedback

Requirements:
  • 0 – 3 years of qualifying public accounting or relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in accounting or finance or other equivalent experience; Master’s degree in accounting or finance preferred;
  • CPA exam-eligible; CPA certification preferred
  • Strong sense of professional ownership of assigned tasks
  • Proficient in collaborating effectively with a team, as well as independently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • None to basic level of understanding of legal and regulatory requirements and pronouncement
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant technology
