Full Charge Bookkeeper/Financial Assistant
We are a team-oriented office looking for an energetic and reliable person to complement our team. This is an immediate hire position.
The position is versatile and we are looking for full charge bookkeeper who can manage 3-4 sets of books.
Job Duties:
Be familiar full charge bookkeeping duties.
All aspects of Account Payable and monthly reconciliation of A/P and statements.
Accounts Receivable and reconciling of monthly customer statements
Daily Banking Reconciliations
Assist with customer deposits and receipts and collection of A/R
Process Journal Entries, balance equipment loans, run monthly P&L and Balance sheets, assist with year end closing of books and assist to prepare taxes for the company CPA.
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and their application to budget and forecast development and administration.
The office is business casual. The main business is site-work contracting. Will report directly to CEO of company and Owner.
We are looking for someone who is computer literate and a quick learner and great organizational skills.
We use MS Office and QuickBooks daily. Candidate must be proficient on Quickbooks.
Assist with some Property Management duties.
Education: Bachelors or Associates in Accounting (preferred) or equivalent work experience may substitute.
Your resume should detail your experience in an office setting with tasks that include but not limited to answering phones, filing, coordinating sales and customer service.
Applicants must be detail oriented, communicate effectively, clean background and good references.
Must have a positive demeanor on the phone and in person with clients.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
