RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Redmond, WA that is seeking a Usability Researcher.
Summary:
This role provides the opportunity to make a broad impact and touch a lot of enterprise products. The position will have ability to work on various research methodologies. The team focuses on which questions they need to resolve, then applies the appropriate methods to resolve.
Typical Day in the Role:
* The purpose of this team is supporting cloud commerce - researchers on this team conduct studies to validate projects and experiences for enterprise customers
* Key projects: This role will contribute to qualitative research and usability interviews, however there will be some lightweight quantitative research and some benchmarking as well
* Typical task breakdown and operating rhythm: The role will consist of working on one project at a time until ramped up; Be assigned to one project and work on one stage at a time - the research planning stage will be collaborative (the team drafts a plan together), the usability research conducting stage will also be highly collaborative, the synthesizing date stage will not be as collaborative as the contractor will be working largely on own to collect data, then they will work with others for feedback on the project; After ramping up you will take on multiple projects at the same time
REQUIREMENTS:
* 2 years of overall experience in the field
* Minimum 2 years of experience with mixed methods usability testing experience
* Minimum 2 years of experience with conducting interviews, usability tests, and surveys
* Minimum 2 years of experience with quantitative analysis tools (UserZoom, Qualtrics, etc.)
* The ideal candidate would contain a background in commerce and previous experience working with cross-functional teams in a large enterprise company
* Figma experience is preferred but not necessary
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
