RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Seattle, WA seeking a remote Software Development Engineer to join their Content platform team. This person will act as first level support and development for all incoming production software application issues dealing with merchandising applications. Your solutions will impact our customers directly. The ideal candidate for this role will be interested in a career in software development - looking to utilize and expand their coding skills and gain exposure to a wide variety of software applications.
Summary:
Primary responsibilities of the Software Development Engineer include developing monitoring solutions, troubleshooting/debugging and implementing the fix for internally developed code (Perl, C/C , JAVA), performing SQL queries, improving our systems that gather metrics on our features, updating, tracking and resolving technical challenges. Responsibilities also include working alongside development on Corporate and Divisional Software projects, updating/enhancing our current software, automation of support processes and documentation of our systems.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Preferred coding skills: Typescript, mySQL, AWS, React, NextJS, HTML
* Detail-oriented
* Superior verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organizational skills
* Able to work independently
* Can maintain professionalism under pressure
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
