RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a fully remote Site Reliability Engineer to join their team.
Summary:
These applications are built with Java 11/14 , springboot, microservices, React on the UI, Cassandra, Kafka and Google Cloud Platform. They also use a mixture of Golang, node, Kubernetes, and SQL, The Senior Site Reliability Engineerwill be responsible for assisting with the infrastructure, monitoring and cloud. They heavily use Kubernetes, terraform, Jenkins (CI/CD) as well as Prometheus, Grafana, and a variety of other tools. The Senior Site Reliability Engineer will also be assisting with the migration from PCF to Google Cloud Platform. Lastly, they will be building out automation within the infrastructure and will ensure high availability and resiliency.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Jenkins CI/CD Pipelines experience
* Terraform experience (ability to build modules from scratch)
* Ansible experience (or other configuration management)
* Kubernetes experience
* Java, Python or Golang experience
* Experience with any application/Performance Management (APM) tools such as Dynatrace/data dog, new relic, etc.
* Experience with PrometheGrafana or other monitoring tools
* Google Cloud Platform experience required (GKE, pub sub, bigquery, etc.)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
