RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a Seattle, WA Healthcare Organization is adding a Senior Business Solutions Analyst to their BI Reporting team (total of 8 people: 3 BSA, 5 Developers). This is a 6 month contract to hire opportunity. This is a 100% remote position, and the candidate must work PST hours and live in one of the following states:

Summary:
The Senior Business Solutions Analyst will elicit requirements from business owners and coordinate with dev team and QA team to turn those requirements to technical and coordinate for the QAs and then get a sign off from the business owners and then a production deployment process (approval for the change control process).
REQUIREMENTS:
Senior BSA is the priority position - key required areas of experience:
* BA degree or an equivalent combination of education and highly relevant experience required
* 6 to 8 years of experience in business or systems analysis
* 4 years of experience in healthcare, preferably in the Health Plan business processes
* Healthcare experience (doesn't need to be payor) is important
* Strong solutions orientated - leading the effort with business requirements to technical requirements with Devs and Testers, using formal SDLC processes
* Expert in SQL and Datawarehouse, specific to healthcare industry and healthcare data
* BI Experience - Tableau preferred
* Experience creating user stories to define business needs and support applications development
* The right person with the right attitude - we are collaborative, busy: 50 ticket requests for reports and dashboards, communication with business owners, and willing to follow our defined process; We have weekly BSA weekly prioritization meetings; We are very SDLC process focused and have templates for everything; Must be detailed orientated
* Strong SQL skills; Willing to dig into our DW structure
* Member data, claims data, authorization data - understand the different data dimensions
* A quick learner to understand our healthcare business
* Very solution thinking oriented, good with writing lots of documentation
* BI background - we use Tableau, but it could be Power BI; We also use SSRS
* Experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
