RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Newport News, VA that is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer.
Responsibilities:
* The Desktop Support Engineer is responsible for answering IT requests via phone, email, live chat or instant message and explaining solutions in technical and nontechnical terms
* Act as the initial point of contact for all computer, system and network issues
* Identify, log and resolve technical issues in a timely fashion
* The Desktop Support Engineer will assist users with 2FA setup for access to IT resources
* Image and deploy laptops\desktops
REQUIREMENTS:
* A , Network or Microsoft 365 certifications
* Experience supporting Senior Executives
* Desktop Support experience in a Microsoft Windows environment
* Knows the difference between OneDrive and SharePoint
* ServiceNow experience is key
* Duo or other 2 factor authentication experience
* MS Teams support experience
* Imaging and VIP support experience
* Emphasis on Windows desktop skills, Office 365, ServiceNow ticketing, imaging, MFA Duo, AD administration, Teams
* Polished, professional, well-spoken - VIP, white glove experience
* Able to multi-task
* Time management skills
* Strong communication skills
Experience with:
* Office 365
* Windows 10
* MS Intune - MDM
* Microsoft Teams
* OneDrive
* SharePoint
* Active Directory administration
* Bitlocker
* Duo - MFA
* ServiceNow
* DHCP, DNS, IPCONFIG/ALL and other commands
* PING COMMAND
* O365 ADMINISTRATION
* AD ADMIN CENTER
* Firewall questions
* SMTP email server questions
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
