JOB: STAFFING COORDINATOR NURSE

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator (LICENSED VOCATIONAL NURSE or REGISTERED NURSE) that is ready to jump in and be a part of our growing team. We strive to create a diverse and inclusive workplace, welcoming applicants from all backgrounds and walks of life.

Pay: Varies depending on experience

Duties:

• Responsible for ensuring facility is adequately staffed for each work shift in order to comply with state and federal regulations
• Organizes and prepare schedules based on availability, census, time off requests, and vacancies
• Works with other departments in filling vacant positions to meet facility staffing requirements
• Keeps attendance records and assists with staffing education and development
• Responds to employee calls regarding scheduling issues, and prepares written correspondence as necessary.
• Holds the on-call phone Monday-Friday, and assists in filling shifts with nurse managers as needed.
• Assists with nursing staff competencies
• Actively assists with staff retention and interviews

Qualifications:

• Active LVN/RN License in the state of Texas required
• Previous staffing experience is preferred
• Service-oriented (positive, enthusiastic, empathetic and respectful demeanor)
• Capable of organizing tasks and managing multiple priorities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
