Quality Control Inspector

Keystone Solid Surfaces is seeking a second shift Quality Control Inspector for our office located in Wichita, KS. This position will be responsible for inspecting manufactured countertops for residential and commercial applications. The standard hours for the position will be Monday – Friday, 1:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m.

Specific job responsibilities include:

- Inspect quality of finish of edge profiles created from the CNC and polish area

- Clean and inspect the deck of each countertop to ensure it is free of deviation and blemishes

- Load and unload polishing/inspection tables, both manually and with hoist equipment

- Verify all dimensions and critical elements to ensure they match the job ticket

- Utilize software to ensure work is completed on time

- Organize/group jobs on carts once inspection is completed

- Complete minor finish-work as needed to return or match product to specification requirements

- Create “Quality Notifications” as needed (when product requires additional processing beyond minor finish work)

- Segregate and/or distinguish product that meets specification vs that of “Quality Notification” Status

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to operate, read and understand a tape measure/blueprint

- Superior attention to detail, organizational, and multi-tasking skills

- Must be able to receive and understand instructions in English. (Bi-Lingual is a plus)

- Good problem solving and decision-making skills

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work from multiple customers as necessary

- Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in a busy, noisy and dusty environment

- Ability to properly bend, twist, reach, lift and move heavy objects

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
