Keystone Powdered Metal Company, a world leader in the manufacture of powdered metal parts, has immediate openings for Engineering Technicians at our Corporate Headquarters located in St. Marys, PA.

Core Responsibilities

· To efficiently and safely work with manufacturing on the setup/startup of new equipment/products on production equipment in compaction and sizing operations with minimal assistance and to develop procedures that outline the steps to be taken in the setup/startup.

· To efficiently and safely operate equipment, including the making of satisfactory adjustments to ensure product quality and defining the procedures for production operators to follow to make similar adjustments.

· Legibly record and maintain applicable product/process information. This includes the creation of setup sheets, documentation of any changes (tooling, press adjustments), and submission of process changes.

· Effectively utilize measuring equipment and information obtained from its use to ensure continuation of control conditions.

· Establish processing parameters and develop procedures to maintain the target of these parameters.

· Participate in manufacturing development by playing a role in startup, evaluating machine/process performance, troubleshooting, and the training of production operators.

· Provide active input to continuous improvement concentrating on process changes that would improve or maintain the quality of parts being manufactured.

Minimum Qualifications

· Associates degree in engineering, such as Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering Science, etc. or equivalent experience in the manufacturing field

· Able to read and understand procedures, process records, etc.
