Inventory Specialist Collier County EMS
Monday to Friday 8-5
$18.00 Hour
Must speak English / Bilingual
Background and Drug Screening required
Must have valid Florida Drivers License
Job Description :
Maintains organization and cleanliness of supply center and other work / storage areas; organizes storage areas and assigns numbers / labels to stock items to facilitate identification and location of items;
assures security of items stored in or transported to / from storage area; coordinates proper disposal of medications. Performs general housekeeping tasks associated with maintaining storage areas and work areas.
- Ensures the delivery of equipment and supplies to off-site locations as appropriate. Receives incoming orders, packages, and deliveries;
- picks up parts at vendors as needed; loads / unloads materials; inspects deliveries to verify receipt of correct materials and of entire order;
verifies accuracy of packing slips and receiving documents. Performs general / clerical tasks, which may include making copies, sending / receiving faxes, relocating equipment / furniture, copying and filing documents, answering phones, taking / forwarding messages or processing incoming / outgoing mail.
Operates and maintains cleanliness of assigned motor vehicle. Provide assistance to other employees or divisions as needed.
Performs other related duties as required. Provides customer services; communicates with personnel via telephone and two-way radio;
responds to routine questions, complaints, or requests for services; provides information and initiates resolutions. Ensures the weekly inventory of ambulances and depots to maintain sufficient amount to ensure adequate availability of supplies.
Operates a personal computer, utility truck, copier, fax machine, calculator, telephone, two-way radio, or other equipment as necessary to complete essential functions;
uses word processing, spreadsheet, database, e-mail, internet.
