Overview

Position: Scrum Master

Location: Albuquerque, NM (3 days onsite each week)

Salary Range: $90-97k/year

Clearance: Ability to obtain a DOE Q Clearance. US Citizenship is required for clearance (i.e., no dual citizenships).

KeyLogic is seeking a Scrum Master to support the IT program at a major national laboratory with the Department of Energy.

The selected candidate must be able to reliably commute or be open to relocating to the Albuquerque area. If offered the position, a government background investigation would be required for a security clearance. Since this position falls under the Department of Energy, the clearance does require exclusive US Citizenship (i.e., no dual citizenship).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate agile teams, apply best practices of the agile methodology, and assign and delegate tasks appropriately to align priorities with the overall schedule and team member capabilities.
• Responsible for understanding the parameters of each sprint and will foster timely and accurate communication throughout the life of the project.
• Works closely with the product owner to translate epics, stories, and other items on the sprint list into actionable tasks for developers.
• Assist with problem resolution and work to maximize productivity and delivery to the customer.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in related degree and 2 years of scrum experience required
• In lieu of a degree, additional relevant experience may be applicable.
• U.S. Citizenship is required per contract to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance.
• Certified Scrum Master
• Strong communication and teaming skills/experience
• Experience with software development projects and lifecycle

Pay: $90,000.00 - $97,000.00 per year
