Key Staffing is seeking an Grounds Entertainment Assistant in the Bakersfield area.
Program / Position Identification and Requirements
Under close supervision of the Deputy Manager II, the Entertainment Activities Coordinator performs but is not limited to a variety of clerical and office duties in support of the Grounds Entertainment department or function within the organization.
This department requires energy and stamina on a normal event day as it supports several hundred performers, actors, and customers during the Fair.
The incumbent will book acts, performers, and entertainment, including but not limited to, contracting, scheduling, coordinating, confirming, and providing credentials.
Ensure smooth execution across all stage spaces. In addition to the day-to-day duties, occasional situations may arise that require quick response to support and help all stage acts and performances.
The incumbent may go out and check on actors, so must be able to work in hot, cold, dry, and dusty conditions.
License or Other Requirements : Valid Driver License
Location : Bakersfield, CA
Work Hours / Shift : Temporary- Pre-Fair and Fair time only

Grounds Entertainment Assistant :
Managing acts / performer schedules
Professional demeanor with a minimum of two years of recent experience in an office setting
Excellent critical thinking skills
Miscellaneous duties :
Perform other job-related duties as requested by supervisor.
Work Environment
Performs varied tasks and will work weekends, holidays, and odd or irregular hours. Will work in a fast-paced, indoor environment.
