Among the programs and services we provide are Outpatient Mental Health Centers, Adult and Child Psychiatric Rehabilitation Programs, School-Based Therapy, Community Outreach, and Residential Services.

Who We Need:
We are currently looking for a PRN, AON Support Staff to join our Aberdeen Residential team.

What We Need:

• Someone who willing to learn or has the experience or education related to the population with whom they shall work and an eagerness to grow in the field.
• Someone who is willing to learn the basic knowledge of the DSM and relevant symptoms of the most common diagnosis.
• Someone who is willing to learn or can demonstrate basic proficiency in assessments, treatment planning, advocacy skills and case management skills.
• Someone who can demonstrate the ability to express themselves well through writing, interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Someone who has an understanding and sensitivity to serving culturally diverse and/or special needs population while maintaining patient confidentially.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Staff are responsible for the comprehensive services offered through on-site and off-site programs. This includes assessment, case management, psycho education, crisis intervention, advocacy, and community liaison.
• Staff are also responsible for the timely and accurate completion of all documentation such as treatment plans and progress notes.
• Responsible for medication monitoring and education to support self-dosing of medication.
• Responsible for teaching community skills including ADLs as needed.
• Must drive 15 passenger vans.

What You Need:

• Current studies equivalent to field or associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred (one to one year exchange.) Degree must be in psychology, sociology, psychiatric rehab, mental health, or a related human services field.
• Valid and active Maryland driver's license (or state of residence)
• Pass a criminal background check, MVA check, and pre-employment screenings
• Must have own vehicle.
