Key Personnel is Hiring a Machine Operator Lvl IV Machine Specialist 3rd shift NEEDED Near Holland, MI
SUMMARY Able to effectively lead a group of coworkers using technical knowledge to improve processes that grow the team. Sharing of the knowledge and leadership is a primary role of the Specialist position, with a technical focus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists in directing team members and prioritizing work requirements on a daily basis. This may include redirecting employees to move work stations thorughout they day, contacting supporting departments to solve any issues that arise, making recommendations and testing new processes or ways to produce products, and other needs as required.
Have intimate technical knowledge of multiple pieces of equipment at the MO III level and be able to share that
technical knowledge to the team.
Possess the knowledge and ability to train other employees in the areas that they are trained.
Must be able to requisition parts and supplies as needed.
Uses the following inspection and testing equipment: Tape measure, hand tools, caliper gages, stopwatch and
any device that is required of the specific job for which they are trained.
Responsible for product quality.
Must be able to build and inspect first piece and samples.
Be mindful of safe work habits to include lock out / tag out.
Maintains a satisfactory productivity rating.
Proactively helps to create and work within a team-based environment and practices effective communication
skills.
Demonstrates good problem-solving skills.
Notifies appropriate personnel of machine repairs and/or any unsafe conditions.
Possess a working knowledge of material/ inventory identification.
Works from a manufacturing requirements schedule.
Performs routine preventive maintenance as necessary.
Pay Range $21 to $26
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three or more years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Regularly lifting/moving up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifting/moving up to 50 pounds - frequently required to walk, climb/balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
