Description:
 
This individual will be responsible for the on-going configuration, monitoring and management of Client network infrastructure for both enterprise and Operational Technology (OT) environments. Support the day-to-day operations of all corporate and remote load balancers, routers, switches, cellular and Wi-Fi devices to provide stable, secure data transfers.
 
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
 
Implementation, administration and support of local and remote network infrastructure, including Layer 2 and Layer 3 data communications.
Extensive experience with routing protocols, configuration and implementation, in particular BGP and OSPF.
Extensive experience with switching protocols, configuration and implementation, in particular VLAN, VRF and APN.
Proactively analyze, troubleshoot, document and resolve data communication systems and circuit issues in a timely manner.
Assist with administration, monitoring and support of corporate data center infrastructure, including UPS, PDU and cooling units.
Works with other IT team members to develop, implement, document and test plans for initiatives and projects.
Support secure design and implementation practices for network and data communications that align with internal and external security standards and best practices.
Interact with business stakeholders to develop and document requirements, design and testing to align with business projects and key initiatives.
Interact with external vendors to recommend communication solutions, including connectivity, hardware and software related to key initiatives.
Maintain documentation, including design, implementation and support procedures for all data communication systems and networks.
Provide clear, concise communication, both written and verbal, to stakeholders, supervisors and co-workers.
Perform additional job duties as required.
 
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
 
5 to 8 years minimum experience administrating networking infrastructure.
Current CCNP certification preferred.
Experience working in mid-size, multi-site networks.
Experience working in both corporate data center and field OT environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be able to interact with other IT teams and business stakeholders in a professional manner.
