**Job Overview:** We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate accounting, data entry, and payroll management. **Responsibilities:** - Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner - Assist in payroll management and ensure accurate processing of employee payments - Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend appropriate actions - Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy - Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and company policies - Collaborate with the human resources department on financial matters - Support month-end and year-end closing processes **Requirements:** - Proficiency in PeopleSoft or similar accounting software - Knowledge of debits, credits, and general ledger functions - Experience in corporate accounting practices - Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data - Ability to handle confidential information with integrity - Familiarity with Ceridian is a plus - Previous experience as an accounting clerk is preferred This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and accuracy are highly valued.
