We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Events to lead our Events team and oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of all corporate events within the wealth management industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in event management, with a focus on an annual thought leadership conference, advisor councils, recognition events and employee engagement. Reporting directly to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Head of Events will play a pivotal role in enhancing our brand image, fostering client relationships, and driving business growth through impactful event experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive event strategies aligned with organizational objectives and divisional needs within the wealth management industry.
  • Lead a team of event professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the successful execution of all events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Product Development, to integrate events into broader marketing campaigns and initiatives within the wealth management sector.
  • Oversee the planning, budgeting, and logistics for all events, ensuring adherence to timelines, financial targets, and quality standards.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors, sponsors, and partners within the wealth management industry to enhance event experiences and optimize resources.
  • Drive innovation in event design and delivery, leveraging technology and industry best practices to create engaging and memorable experiences for high-net-worth clients and executives.
  • Measure and analyze event performance metrics within the wealth management sector, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and ROI optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards applicable to events within the wealth management sector, maintaining confidentiality and privacy as necessary.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape within the wealth management industry to inform event strategies and enhance organizational capabilities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field; advanced degree a plus
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in event management, with a focus on corporate events and conferences within the wealth management industry.
  • Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing demands and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization and with high-net-worth clients and executives.
  • Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional event experiences within the wealth management sector.
  • Proficiency in event management software, CRM systems, and other relevant tools.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed for event planning and execution within the wealth management industry.
