Sturtevant, WI Our Sturtevant, WI location is part of our Meat Division and creates dry seasoning blends for meat and snacks items that spice up the life of Kerry customers.

What You'll Do

The typical hiring range for this role is $25 to $26 per hour and is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications.

This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and / or overtime. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• All facilities related work but not limited to tasks such as changing light bulbs and ballasts / drywall needs / painting / caulking / concrete work / constructing or assembling furniture and office equipment / replacing ceiling tiles / hanging posters and signs / Installing TV’s and mounting them / lifting office equipment and moving it.
• Assisting Maintenance Technicians as necessary.
• Understanding of computer data and how it is to be entered accurately into SAP.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while also maintaining a hazard free work area.
• Maintain work area in a clean and safe manner.
• Maintain GMPS, PPE, and 5S standards.
• Reports all Accidents and Near-misses immediately.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

What You'll Need To Be Successful And Safe

Minimum Requirements :

• Organizational & excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English at a level to facilitate the understanding of the terminology of the job.
• Basic computer experience and SAP for Maintenance
• Ability to comprehend and follow written and / or verbal procedures or instructions.
• Previous manufacturing and blending operation experience preferred.
• Previous work experience within a food manufacturing and distribution environment preferred.

Working Conditions :

• Food manufacturing plant
• Warehouse environment

Physical Requirements :

• Ability kneel, bend, squat, carry, reach, stand, grip, push, pull, arm extensions and perform elevated work.
• Ability to work in hot, cold or wet environments. Environment may be dust filled at times
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to work overtime and use a flexible schedule.
• Ability to walk up to 135 feet one way many times a day.
• Ability to continuously stand / walk up to 8-12 hours.
• Ability to climb stairs or ladder.
