Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Salon Assistant to join our team. As a Salon Assistant, you will provide support to our salon professionals and ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the salon.

Responsibilities:

- Greet clients and provide excellent customer service

- Assist salon professionals with various tasks, including shampooing, conditioning, and styling hair

- Prepare clients for services by draping, mixing color, and applying products

- Clean and sanitize salon tools and equipment

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Schedule appointments and handle client inquiries

- Process retail sales transactions using salon software

- Assist with store management duties as needed

Skills:

- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively

- Knowledge of color theory and ability to assist with color application

- Familiarity with salon software for appointment scheduling and inventory management

- Cosmetology license or currently enrolled in cosmetology program preferred

Pay: $80.00 - $100.00 per day

Expected hours: 24 – 32 per week
