Small office environment, reporting to the Communications, Marketing, and Creative Director. This is a hybrid role, requiring at least two days in the office per week.

In this position you will develop marketing strategies, graphics, videos, theme, content, etc. for the promotion of the CPA profession, KyCPA membership, advocacy, professional education, and other KyCPA initiatives while continually strengthening the KyCPA brand.

Major areas of responsibility:

• Social media: strategize, develop, publish, and monitor across LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and X.
• Email: draft and send weekly emails to members about upcoming events, news, Continuing Professional Education (CPE) courses, etc.
• Writing: creating and editing content
• Photography: shooting, formatting, and editing photos (professional headshots, group photos, event candids, etc)
• Video: recording, formatting, and editing
• Website: making updates, creating new pages, and search engine optimization

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, or a related field
• Understanding of marketing and visual concepts that promote brand identity.
• Knowledge and experience using LinkedIn and other social media platforms for business.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and SharePoint
• Must be able to work in a Mac environment.
• Ability to effectively plan workflow and manage time independently.
• Attention to detail.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in social media management.
• Experience with Adobe InDesign
• Experience with WordPress and the Divi builder.
• Ability to create, manage, and utilize social media content calendars.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
