Overview
We are seeking a Medical Assistant team member who resembles our high standard of care for our patients. Our ideal candidate would be friendly, polished and professional. We want this staff member to be comfortable with constant change as our company continues to grow, highly motivated and have exceptional communication skills. Job Requirements
-Acknowledge patients with a friendly, compassionate, and energetic greeting
-Coordinate appointments, schedule and counsel patients seeking care in person or over the telephone
-Communicate efficiently between all staff members
-Maintain accurate documentation of time and attendance
-Answer patient’s questions about services, surgeries and products
-Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA rules and regulations
-May be asked to work at satellite location periodically
-Prepare patients for examination and treatment
-Assist provider with surgeries and examinations
-Documents office notes and explains treatment plan for the provider
-Collects and prepare laboratory specimens
-Maintains clean examination rooms, stocked with supplies and medical instruments
Education and/or Experience
-High school diploma or equivalent is required; a minimum of one (1) year of office experience is preferred; and/or equivalent education or experience in a job-related activity if required
