Job Description
The District School Improvement Facilitator assists school leadership teams in the
effective implementation of a systematic approach to improving education and learning
for all children; manages and provides oversight of State and Federal programs for the
purpose of ensuring programs are administered within the policies and procedures of
the district and that services conform to established guidelines and regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
? Serves as a support and liaison to schools in the school improvement process.
? Monitors and supports progress towards accomplishment of school
improvement goals and objectives.
? Provides effective and frequent communication with schools.
? District representative at Kent Learning Collaborative meetings.
? Takes an active role in problem-solving with school and/or district leadership
teams.
? Manages documentation, plans, and budgets of State and Federal programs.
? Performs other tasks and assumes other responsibilities as the superintendent
or designee may assign
Education and/or Experience
? Bachelor’s or master’s degree in education required.
? Experience coordinating and developing continuous improvement efforts
preferred
