Community Support Team (CST) Supervisor
POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR HIRING BONUS
Due to eligible grant funds, this position offers a $2000 hiring bonus. The bonus will be paid to the hired candidate half after 30 days ($1,000) and half upon the successful completion of 6 months of work ($1,000). Employees must be in good standing to be eligible for hiring bonuses.
CST Supervisor starting salary: $60,000 plus increases for license and experience.

Job Scope: Provide clinical and administrative oversight to a team of clinicians providing intensive, recovery oriented behavioral health services to persons living with serious and persistent mental illness. The focus of the community support team will be to support clients living independently and engaging fully in community life. Supervisor will be an active team member, carrying a caseload, providing clinical interventions, sharing in 24-7 crisis coverage and supervising team member assignments and activities.. Build and maintain CST team and ensure agency performance standards for the team are met and that the team is interfacing with other teams efficiently.
Program Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day clinical and administrative operations and activities of full-time and part time members of the CST
Coordinate with the Comprehensive Transition Program staff and Front Door Diversion staff around supporting psychiatric hospital discharge and transition of Williams & Colbert members from nursing home to community
Lead Community Support Team meetings and assure team participation in utilization and peer review.
Ensure that care provided integrates all facets of clients’ lives including mental/emotional health, physical health/wellness, employment and education, social and family relationships, substance use/abuse issues, and housing needs.
Provide a full range of clinical care to a partial caseload of clients all receiving community support services from the team at large. Care will include responsibility for assessment, treatment planning, intensive community based skills training, case management services, and reauthorizations
Accurately complete clinical documentation and service reporting in a timely manner
Participate in clinical supervision; seek individual consultation with supervisor when needed.
Meet and exceed team productivity target
Monitor team staffing needs and hiring and orientation of new staff.
Participate in orientations, all staff meetings and training/ development seminars
Interpret and communicate, at the service delivery level, Center policies and procedures
Submit, in a timely and accurate fashion, schedules, timesheets, mileage and other reports required by the Center’s policies and procedures
Minimum Position Requirements
Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology or a related discipline.
Qualified Mental Health Professional or LPHA per Illinois Rule 132/140 guidelines
Preferred 2-3 years experience working with individuals with serious mental illness
Preferred 1-2 years experience working in non-traditional treatment environments i.e. in-home, residential, community settings
1 year of demonstrated ability to provide clinical and administrative supervision
Computer and smartphone proficiency, including Word, Excel, applications, text messaging and Internet skills. Knowledge and ability to learn new Electronic Health Record System and electronic internal collaboration and communication tools.
Applicant must have a valid IL Driver’s License and daily access to a well maintained/insured vehicle
Will be required to drive daily for meetings and/or visits to apartment buildings, single family homes, hotels and temporary housing shelters, and residential facilities. Will work in varied residential environments based on assigned caseload.
Must work a flexible schedule in response to the needs of the target population served, including evening and Saturday hours.
Participate in rotating 24/7 crisis line coverage
