About Wilderness Ridge Country Club

Wilderness Ridge is the most unique golf course in the state of Nebraska. With its granite, boulder-lined ponds and streams, bent grass fairways, and more than 6,000 trees throughout the 18 hole championship course and 9 hole executive track, it’s truly a resort-style golfing experience. Wilderness Ridge also offers a casual restaurant featuring steaks and seafood, as well as private banquet spaces for events of any occasion and size.

A Day in the Life
The Banquet Server is responsible for providing excellent service and ensuring guest satisfaction for a variety of events including weddings, corporate events, member events and golf outings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and serve food and/or beverages to patrons.
• Provide immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
• Setup for the banquet event.
• Check back to ensure guest satisfaction; replenish water as necessary.
• Bus for plates and glassware throughout events.
• Keep the tables, dining room and bus station clean and tidy.
• Advise supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.
• Perform side work, clean-up and closing duties as assigned.
• Prepare room for upcoming banquet events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school preferred.
• 1year server experience preferred.
• Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including nights/weekends.
• Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.
