MISSION

The Facilities, Safety, and Maintenance Supervisor works under the direction of Facilities, Safety and Maintenance Manager to ensure that all facilities and equipment in Indiana are in proper working order.

This is a strategic position that will include supervision and execution of general repairs and preventative maintenance (PM) work and supervision of maintenance assistant(s).

There is a substantial safety component to this position. This associate will lead safety training for the Indiana BU.

• OUTCOME : Complete maintenance requests in accordance with Service Level Agreement
• Support Operations and other departmental requests.
• Support facility layout changes and projects. Work includes racking, guard rails, conveyor lines, kitting stations, workstations, electrical and data lines, etc.
• Support facility renovation projects.

Qualifications

STRENGTHS

• Be able to conduct training in a public setting
• General understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical power systems.
• Be able to read and interpret OSHA Standards in General Industry
• Ability to coordinate repairs to equipment and systems utilizing the above power systems, such as forklifts, air compressors, machine wrapper, security systems, dock plates, etc.
• Ability to direct the maintenance and servicing of equipment per manufacturer schedules or other directives.
• Possess strong eye-hand coordination as well as strength and stamina needed to stand for extended periods of time, climb ladders, move equipment and heavy loads, use scissor lift at elevated levels.
• Possess basic carpentry skills.
• Be able to pass tests for and operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet riders, scissor lifts and floor scrubbers.
• Ability to work weekends as needed.
• Basic MS Office, email and general computer skills required.
• Must have valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• 3-5 years of experience in warehousing or manufacturing maintenance.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Some travel may be required
