Territory Sales Representative needed in the Chicagoland area.
$55K - $60K, based on experience
Must be bi-lingual in English and Spanish
Must be able to travel internationally
Position Objective: Outside Sales Representative is responsible for providing prices and arranging orders based on our customers’ requests, in a timely manner. Also responsible for negotiating with overseas suppliers, as well as applying resourcefulness and strong attention to detail while converting inquiries into orders. Developing and maintaining good relationships with both suppliers and customers.
Report to: The Sales Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Generate and follow up on quotes for all products
• Process sales orders
• Create and provide quotations
• Monitor competitors’ products and prices
• Negotiate price with suppliers and present to customers
• Work in small team environment, communicating as required with all personnel.
• Develop new suppliers and potential customers
• Maintain good business relationships with existing suppliers and customers
• Manage customer-specific inventories as needed.
• Travel to customers and suppliers as needed (both domestic and international)
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.
• Perform for individual and company’s sales annual goals and profits
• Cover area - mainly Midwest region ( 20% Overnight travel monthly )
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Work experience in international field is preferred
• Willing to travel throughout the US and abroad
• Strong organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outook and Excel (pivot table, v-lookup, etc)
• Communication skills essential and the ability to effectively communicate with non-native English speakers highly preferred
• Ability to multitask
Compensation:
Full medical, dental, and vision insurance (100% covered by employer) Working hours are 9-5 with flex potential of 1 hour and work from home.
