Kelly is seeking a Payroll & Human Resources Specialist to work with our client in the environmental services industry on a direct hire basis! This is an excellent opportunity to join an innovative company that has experienced over 40 years of success and offers great benefits as well as ample growth opportunity!The Payroll & Human Resources Specialist will:
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for 350 employees
  • Process payroll reports
  • Verify month-end variances
  • Enter garnishments and other deductions
  • Respond to payroll inquiries
  • Process applicable payroll reports (ex. 401k/HSA)
  • Respond to insurance questions during open enrollment
  • Assist with HR audits
  • File reports/emails related to payroll/onboarding/employee relations
  • Coordinate new-hire onboarding process
  • Process employee changes, ensuring all documentation meets legal compliance
  • Assist with talent acquisition/recruitment
  • Assist in writing job descriptions
  • Support in creating and updating processes and workflows
  • Harbor an in-depth knowledge of the HR handbook
  • Oversee/manage 1-2 direct reports
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
  • 5 years’ relevant Human Resources and payroll experience
  • Recruiting experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to communicate professionally within all levels of the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to multi-task and handle confidential information
  • Great attention to detail and organization
  • Problem solver
  • Team player
  • Excellent mathematical skills
