Suncoast Post Tension, Ltd. is an established post tension and rebar manufacturing company that has been in business for over 30 years. We supply construction related materials to builders from one of our nine facilities in the US. We are seeking a highly motivated Controls and Electrical Engineer with excellent communication skills to become a member of our team based in Phoenix, AZ. 

Responsibilities

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience 

• Extensive experience in controls engineering/project management for discrete manufacturers required.
• Experience developing and deploying Operational Technology (OT) networks
• Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell HMIs including Ignition, RSView32, and FactoryTalk Studio SE.
• Ability to design and troubleshoot various communication networks
• Ability to manage projects and to manage support staff who may be assigned to such projects.
• Extensive encounter in controls engineering/project administration for discrete producers required.
• Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLC Logix platforms
• Troubleshoot fundamental electric circuits counting 480VAC, 120VAC, and 24VDC circuits.
• Extremely solid problem-solving skills
• Skilled in utilizing electrical and mechanical hand instruments (i.e., screwdriver, pound, volt meter, etc.) and control devices (i.e., bore press, band saw).
• Travel: Up to 30% travel required.
• Programmable Rationale Controllers: 3 a long time (Required)

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would have an bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent education/training.
