Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a financial advisor to join The Converse Team Financial Services in the Wichita branch of our nationally networked wealth management firm. This position will allow you to grow your experience in client advising in both investment and financial planning areas alongside highly experienced financial advisors. We are looking for a client-focused, relational financial advisor to provide skilled services across the wealth management field.
This is an exempt position located in our Wichita, KS office. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Providing excellent service to clients by preparing for meetings, providing thorough investment research and solutions, and making financial planning recommendations.
Developing collaborative relationships with internal team members and external professionals to provide comprehensive and seamless service for clients.
Conducting meetings and documenting all communication with clients and prospects.
Organizing, analyzing, and presenting financial planning information for clients, keeping this up to date with any changes.
Engaging in client and team meetings, completing assigned tasks and executing follow-up.
Managing or participating in research projects as needed.
Contributing to the growth of the branch’s prospective and new client relationships.
Other duties as assigned.
Desired skills include, but are not limited to:
Series 7 and: 65 or 63 and 66
Life Insurance license
3 years of industry-related experience
Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills to build trusting relationships with clients and the team.
Solid understanding of industry rules and regulations.
Commitment to providing an excellent level of client care and communication with accurate follow-through on commitments and deadlines.
Employs solid analytical skills in researching and resolving problems.
Detail-oriented ability to document all client communication.
Operates with high integrity for our office and clients, never taking shortcuts and following compliance rules.
Experience with financial planning software such as eMoney or MoneyGuide Pro and CRM systems.
Exposure to portfolio management and providing investment recommendations.
Continuous learner committed to adapting to client and business needs and opportunities.
